I began working at CPE in 1999 as a graduate student and am now in a full-time administrative faculty position as an evaluation coordinator. I serve as a team lead and team member for many evaluation projects at CPE. Some of my current projects include the Parent Information and Resource Center grant awarded to the Washoe Count School District through Education Collaborative; The Healthy Hearts Project, a UNCE demonstration project funded by the CDC; an evaluation of the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northern Nevada’s school-based mentoring program, the Nye Communities Coalition, and the Partnership of Community Resources coalition. I team teach some of the Evaluation Training Institute courses and occasionally guest lecture in various research methods courses. I also serve as co-chair for the Nevada Evaluation Association, a local affiliate of the American Evaluation Association. I enjoy reading, cooking, baking, hiking, camping, skiing, and teaching various group exercise classes at several fitness clubs in Reno. Also, I volunteer in a number of ways outside of University of Nevada, Reno, through Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd.
