Undergraduate Minor: Health Ecology

Students pursuing careers in medicine, dentistry, social work, and business to name just a few add significant and meaningful breadth to their resume with the addition of a health ecology minor. Health is now recognized to comprise components of social, emotional, intellectual, occupational and spiritual wellness. Employers and graduate programs appreciate the broad perspective a heath ecology minor provides students.

Required Courses

HE 201 Foundations of Personal Health and Wellness 4 credits
HE 310 Health and Wellness Communication 3 credits
Choose one of the following courses:  
HE 340 Policy Issues in Health and Society 3 credits
HE 345 Ethical Decision Making in Health and Wellness 3 credits


Elective Courses (9 or more credits)
Choose any HE courses with the exception of HE 380, 381, 492, 494 or 495
